Agenda

Building Geospatial Road Network Model

Overview

The purpose of this meeting was to bring together representatives from the Pooled Fund Study (PFS) States involved in AEGIST to not exchange valuable insights and best practices in GIS for transportation and chart the path forward for geospatial data management and governance.

AEGIST States discussed and reviewed the guidelines and recommendations associated with geospatial data management and governance that have been documented in the following chapters of the AEGIST Guidebook v2.

  • Chapter 1: AEGIST Objectives, Goals and Mission
  • Chapter 2: Business requirements for Road Network Data Modeling
  • Chapter 3: Routes, Nodes, Road Elements Data Modeling
  • Chapter 4: Intersection Data Modeling
  • Chapter 5: Asset Data Modeling
  • Chapter 6: Project Data Modeling
  • Chapter 7: Geospatial Data Management and Governance

Building Geospatial Road Network Model. Level 1: Planning-Level Road Network Model. Level 2: Intelligent Roundtable Road Network Model. Level 3: Multi-Dimensional Road Network Model.
