Overview
The AEGIST Meeting of the States brings together representatives from the Pooled Fund Study (PFS) states to discuss the Road Network Data Modeling, Management and Governance guidelines documented in the AEGIST Guidebook. In prior AEGIST annual meetings (held in 2019, 2021, and 2022), the PFS states discussed the AEGIST Guidebook v1.0 and provided recommendations for the AEGIST Guidebook v2.0.
Meeting discussions have focused on routes-intersections-assets-projects data modeling, road network data governance and emerging practices in road network data integration from a variety of sources (e.g. local agencies, digital as-builts).
In this fourth annual meeting, the focus will be on the final review of the guidelines and recommendations associated with geospatial data management and governance that have been documented in the AEGIST Guidebook v2. Discussion will focus on guidebook chapters:
